As many of you know if you have read our 2014 programme, the inspiration for the final scene in Cameron Menzies’ production of our Don Giovanni was taken from the statue of Anna Chromy’s sculpture of Il Commendatore on Prague. It so happens that there is a copy of the sculpture here in Cap-Ferrat and the cast and crew couldn’t resist having there photo taken with him after a great lunch in the port! Our old girl is back at the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild for our last performance for Les Azuriales Opera. Cameron Menzies’ wonderful production of Don Giovanni is tonight, followed by a delicious and glamorous dinner in the gardens! Toi toi to every member of the fabulous cast and team, and a huge thank you to Les Azuriales for making it all happen.
Our stage management, wardrobe and Masetto enjoy their day off on St Jean Cap-Ferrat with an afternoon at sea! Our last performance (Don Giovanni) is here at the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild for Les Azuriales Opera.
