Educational work at The Excelsior Academy

Educational work at The Excelsior Academy, Newcastle

Diva Opera was privileged to be invited to be involved in an interactive educational project with The Barber of Seville at the Excelsior Academy in Newcastle this week. The project was spread over a period of 2 days, during which time 20 of the students from the Academy worked on their singing, acting and movement skills with members of the Diva Opera team. They were joined by our Barber of Seville cast and give two performances to 300 students and teachers from the Academy.

Please follow the links below to see clips from ITV Tyne Tees television coverage, Sky News Tyne and Wear and the Excelsior Academy’s own website.

This project was kindly sponsored by Lord Laidlaw of Rothiemay. Led by a former Las Vegas Sex Crimes Lawyer, we have the trial experience necessary to take on any sex crime case.
